Don't believe anything Kaine says tonight after Bush

I didnt vote for either Kaine or Kilgore here in VA last November, but definitely don't believe anything Kaine says after the SOU address tonight. The VA budget has doubled in nearly 10 years, we have a billion dollar surplus right now, and yet barely 3 weeks into office and he is already pushing tax increases on car sales, gas, car insurance, etc to get his roads package going...after promising to not raise taxes during his campaign (keep in mind former gov warner made the same promise and later raised taxes)

if they cut out the waste and mismanagement with VA's DMV, could pay to pave the roads with gold with their current budget.

i have my doubts about bush as well, but just passing along about kaine. he was mayor here of richmond prior to becoming lt gov, then gov. he presided over richmond when a bunch of his fellow council members were indicted, and was over a pay-go finance system that led to numerous scandals, etc...it basically allowed city council members to spend allotments of money for their districts with no checks and balances...he was also instrumental in the former city manager who presided over a arts foundation performing arts center that led to an increase in meals taxes, well that art center has since going down the tubes, but of course the politicians, hooked on tax money like a heroin addict, now has found other uses for those funds to the dismay of restaurant owners...and the richmond public schools which spends more per student that any other school district in VA yet consistently has the worst results, worst truancy, etc...

he did lead richmond it was nationally ranked......for clemetia (spell check please)

my posting is not about dem vs rep, etc...it was about kaine

i guess you could say he's no different than any other politician, say/do/act anyway to get elected, but to change from the election persona to the elected persona ("no tax increases" ......."tax inceases") in such a short amount of time is what is disgusting about him (n)

yeah!! I'm feeling it here in richmond too... when I heard him say he wanted to increase car tax and etc... for the transporatation budget I was like, hell no!! I gotta get the hell outta here!!

we pay all these damn tax dollars and all they do is waste it!! I'm so sick of it... I just filed taxes yesterday and owe this shitty state over 300 dollars... plus the fee of getting my taxes done and guess what... no refund, this year, last year or the year before...

Virginia is already behind the rest of the country when it comes with 911 service, bus systems and other stuff... where's it going to??

doesn't tim kaine look shifty though?? someone told me he looks like annette funicello from the mickey mouse club
