Hello all.
I have posted my first record of mashups on my blog, as well as a few other random mixes, free for all to download. There are two Beastie Boys tracks which I've mashed up with Perez Prado, Le Tigre, the Cure, the Buzzcocks, Naked Eyes, Young Holt Unlimited, and maybe some other stuff I'm forgetting.

Hope you enjoy, and please accept my apologies for the lengthy rant about DJs and mashup artists. Feel free to skip it and go straight to the downloads. Thank you.
Yours most sincerely,
Clayton

genious! Some of your mixes actually made me laugh outloud. Wellllll done! :p
btw, I know you dont like to refer to yourself as a dj persay (as posted on your blog) but maybe you can give me some advice. I'm a kid on a tight budget and I need a new mixer for scratchin and mixin, mainly with vinyl. There's a literal ton of options out there and I have no idea what to get, so if you know anything about that kinda thing, let a bloke know :)

Thanks for the kind words. Well, frankly, if you're on a *really* tight budget, I'm not sure how much use my advice will be to you. Pioneer makes some really good DJ mixers, and they're pretty standard in Chicago. Lots of effects and looping capabilities from any source. But those can get a little pricey, so maybe you're looking for something under a couple of bills? If so, I know a lot of people who go with the ultra-cheap mixers, no-name brands or even Radio Shack specials, and their sets still sound great. It's all about what you play, anyway, right? So, really... any mixer will do if you're going to be tearing it up on vinyl. Just make sure your outputs don't completely suck and that the fader isn't going to crap out on you after a few uses. Well, I wish I could be of more help, but there are probably a lot of good message boards out there specifically addressing this question, and to be clear: I'm no expert on mixers. But I wish you the very best of luck. Thanks again.

Yeah, that's my problem with the ghetto ass piece of crap I'm usin now, the xfader's all old and crackly, cuts worse than a rusty spoon (n)
Thanks alot for the advice friend, I'll go try and find a DJ board and ask around there
oh yeah, still think your mixes are hilarious, many props and kudos

Thanks a lot. Nice website. I wasn't expecting to see such a gigantic picture of Supergirl, but I did.

True that. I think I'll visit your site again, rather than watch the Rolling Stones on the Superbowl.
