The Pink Panther remake pisses me off. (n)

Is it a remake or a sorta sequel? Not that it matters in any way because it's the biggest rip-off bullshit barfarama ever.

Oh and I don't think it's an actual remake of any of the Pink Panther movies. I think it's basically just supposed to be the next installation in the series of films. I don't really give a shit either way because it pisses me off too much to pay close attention.

Pure Drivel is pretty darned good.

There's a story in there from the point of view of the alphabet (if I recall correctly) that's damned funny.

It seems like all the old school SNL actors are destined to star in shitty movies nowadays just to make a paycheck to get by.

I saw Christmas with the Kranks which had Dan Akroyd and that movie was shit and I also saw Broken Flowers with Bill Murray and it was pretty high on the suckiness scale as well.

Once Steve Martin quit being the Rambling Guy he started faltering. As a comic who just sort of shows up and is absurd, then dissappears, he was great. It's when he stays too long his absurdness wears off.

Like Me.

Yeah really. He hasn't starred in anything for a while now. I do like his work and hopefully he just didn't hang it up.

Edit: Even though Broken Flowers was a crappy movie, it's the only one I've seen in a long time that had a full frontal shot and I'm talking muff and all. Even though she looked 18. I wonder how Bill felt about his role in that scene.. It was very akward.

I've gone to the movies recently and have watched the Pink Panther/Cell phone company tie in for making sure your phone is off. A guy getting his jollies on vib mode? Wasn't that funny back in 99? The movie seems horrible just like my english accent.

okay, she's 22, but in the movie she's supposed to be a young teenager.

shit, if I was a 14 year old chick, I'd be pressing my mosquito bites together and rubbin' my cleavage in his face asking him to reinact the scene of him finding the Babe Ruth bar in the pool..

I'm sorry, but why does this piss you off? What does Steve Martin have to do with your life? What does any movie have to do with you? Why would you care? If you died right now, Steve Martin would cash his checks and never give a shit. You want movies to cater to your taste? You want Steve Martin to come over to your house and make you giggle? Who are you? You're nobody. Your opinion of movies doesn't count for anything. Neither does mine of course, it's pointless to even care about movies. Go rent The Jerk and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and stop growing old so fast.

No, I want Peter Sellers to come over to my house and make me giggle. Too bad he's dead. If Steve Martin came to my house right now, I'd give him a 5 on 2 and tell him he's no Peter Sellers.

Your opinion of my opinion of movies counts about as much as my irrelevant opinion of movies. The circle of life is so beautiful.
