Because someone on the hub found an old cd of theirs. Remembering that the cd had been pulled from shelves and is now out of print, I decided to do a search to see how much he could probably get for it. This is how I ran across this auction.

I used to have an autographed photo of Rob and Fab from when they were doing public appearances after they couldn't be Milli Vanilli. I never threw it away, so I keep hoping it will turn up. I once had it framed at my office, but I would have brought it home after I left that job.

Anyhow, my friend used to work at a music company's corporate headquarters and MV were making a personal appearance there. Lots of big stars would go there and the employees would turn out if they wanted to. No one wanted to go to the MV appearance, until my friend had the idea of getting autographed photos for gag gifts and she got them to sign one with my name on it. All her buddies at work decided to do the same thing, and MV got one of the bigger turnouts. I figured that would have been pretty gratifying for them at that point in their career. :p
