There was speculation that Jack and Meg were brother/sister AND/OR married to each other.

It turned out they were just divorced. The speculation kept up because neither Jack nor Meg had any interest in clearing it up. They figured it wasn't worth their time to address gossipy tabloids.

yeah it did come out my nose! i was like, projectile and all that.
the girls in the bathroom were really mean to me. someone was barefoot and they got spew on their feet. sucked in!

I almost broke my back in the Kings of leon mosh pit. The crowd wasnt so bad at their sideshow though.

i once puked right after taking an antibiotic on an empty stomach and i was taking the girlie UTI pills that make your pee orange and it turns out it makes your bile REALLY yellow. i was outside a pharmacy and took my antibiotic and HUUURRRK! i barely made it into the trash can outside. a woman coming out of the grocery store next door was RIGHT there and saw it all and i was crying because i was so sick (i had just gotten out of the emergency room). she asked me if i was okay and i explained my situation and why it was neon yellow. and she nervously laughed and said "oh, i've had that before!" and kind of RAN to her car with her bags. i hope she remembers me and wakes up in the middle of the night sweating and having flashbacks to it.

I've had bad luck at clubs lately. I thought I was going to throw up at Soul Asylum (not their fault--they were great) and my friend fainted at Atmosphere (not their fault either).

I thought White Stripes were great but it was a good venue and I had rather low expections so I was thrilled at how it turned out. :)

I thought the White Stripes were good when I saw them. Considering they opened for a secret Weezer show at a small club in LA. Gosh, this was in the summer of 1999... I remember thinking, "hmmm... they're pretty neato". :cool:

Doc! You live in the Mini Apple though! Dontcha? I'll have you know I attended school in western WI and frequented 'the cities' quite a bit. And I sure miss 'em. Man! I got to see Luscious Jackson at 1st Ave! That was one of my favorite shows ever. Yeah, we have all the struggling artists in LA before they 'break'. But we also have traffic, smog, silicone, gangs, etc... it all balances out.

I have a big chip on my shoulder because my friend went to LA without me this time. This will be my first winter without flying somewhere warm for even a long weekend. Oh, I do get to go to Phoenix for work in a couple of weeks. Woo hoo. :p

P.S. My friend fainted at First Ave. The staff are fabulous!

the white stripes were one of the biggest bands to ever come down to tasmania. it was a big deal. joe went home before they even played because he had a migraine. and then i spewed and lost all my friends. i didn't have a good time.
