View Full Version : what do you do if your lisence plate gets stolen?

mine hasn't...yet. i noticed today that one of the screws is half undone, though. i don't know how long it's been like that, i don't think i've ever checked in the 5+ years i've had the car, but i guess whoever was doing it got bored or something. anyway, assuming the asshole had carried through with it, and my lisence plate was stolen, what would i do? i don't think it says anything about that in the user's manual

I noticed my front one was gone last week. Go to the dol in your area. They'll cancel them and give you new plates.

My ex took the license plate off of my car once. She got mad at me because I didn't let her use it and that I used it instead so that I can take my daughter around..Fuckin' bitch.

I'd just call the police station about it and inform them of what's going on. That's what I did.
