I was looking at my grandpa's high school year book awhile back and noticed that people back then really took pride in their appearance... I mean there were girls with big noses or guys with crooked teeth, but the way they fixed their hair and dressed compensated for it... you don't really notice physical flaws when people take care of themseleves.

my father wasn't "good looking"... he always had a look like he was going to kill ya... but he wore cologne and dressed sharp... even though he smoked like a chimney... but the ladies loved him.

do you think that plastic surgey is even nescessary?
i dunno :o
personality counts in looking good, right?

Buh, blame the media, hollywood, weak minded consumers. Whatever. A lot of values and the such have also changed since then, less "uptight" you could say as a society. A lot of bad , you could say, has come of it but also a lot of good. For example a lot more acceptance a lot more variety in tastes and what have you.
