they just missed each other...

a week after the MSG concert, the Beastie Boys, De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest, and Cypress Hill were all in New Orleans for VooDoo fest... they all saw each others shows...

I went to that Voodoo Music fest and it was excellent. I missed ATCQ due to the fact MMM was spinning at the same time they were playing and I decided to catch MMM instead. I also missed DeLa and Cypress Hill because the people I took to Voodoo with me were a bunch of whiney fucks and wanted to leave sunday morning. I missed all of the second day of Voodoo.

No one took the stage with the boys but MMM, Alfredo and Money Mark. I was waiting for some guest appearances but they never happened.
