so I was doing pretty good with my healthy eating kick. But today, the craving for greasy mexican food hit (probably because I'm a greasy mexican).
Anyway, I got a carne asada PLATE. So that means; beans, rice, salad, meat, and 3 HUGE tortillas. I also had about 5 little containers of yummy salsa. It was so good that I kept eating it a bit after I knew I should stop. I'm paying for it now. I'm sitting here wanted to burst and cause a crystal guts fiesta in my office.

I love mexican food!! I hate when I do that though, I feel like I aint got no will power and give up. But just go right back to your diet because you'll most likely burn that off. Just think of it as your splurge of the week. :D

oh man, its been soooooo long since ive had mexican food. like, the whole school year. whenever i get good mexican food i always super over eat cause its so good. im sure theres got to be a greasy mexican restraunt somewhere walking distance to campus

Im sure it has to do with the addictiveness of it. Also it doesn't really have what your body needs, so your body asks for more of it. Like junk food, you could eat and eat and your body is still asking for something with sumbstance.

Hahaha, one time I had "Mexican" food in Spokane, Washington, it was the shittiest thing ever. I looked at the waiter who was Mexican, and said "Do you eat this?" He said "No, we make this for the people here, the cooks make real Mexican food for us. I don't think the people here could handle it." I laughed, and told him "I'm from Texas, can I please have some real Mexican food?" Oh, fuck was that food terrible, now the Mexican food, that was good. (y)
Oh, and g-mile, I know I have mentioned this before, but my wife is Cuban, Italian, and German. Yep, she can cook!

gentrification is ruining my neighborhood. there used to be this place down the block where we'd get guacanachos and it was grand. now it's all boarded up. :(
they's plenty of mexican joints in chi-town though. but I haven't gone overboard in a long time.
