my name is vicki, but in greek the proper way to say it is Vasiliki, which is what it says on my birth certificate, so at school on the role my name is Vasiliki. but none of the teachers can say it so i get called vasilika, vaslippa, vasliki, vaslikikiki, vaslikiko and other annoying things like that before i have the chance to tell them to just call me vicki, has this every happend to any of you? if it has you'll understand how fucking annoying it is!

Heh, my name is Traci, but it's not my legal name. When I was registered for school in Oklahoma my mom decided to put Traci off to the side of the forms thinking it would help to avoid confusion or something. So they put it down as my middle name. Despite the fact that they had various records with my real name on it that DID NOT have "Traci" and despite the fact that we kept bugging them to change it. Fucking Oklahoma tards. Luckily they didn't do it on my diploma.

yeah that would totally suck, they put vasiliki on my report and on everything, and when i tell them to change it to vicki they spell it vikki instead of vicki, sooo annoying!

Putting two "k"s instead of "ck" isn't as bad as adding a whole other name.

my middle name is slightly embarassing, but for the most part, I don't have a problem with my name. Except when people write down "Mat". I hate that.

What's with you and Greek? (I learned it.. the myths were pretty cool. i'm learning Latin, because it looks good on my certificate and its kinda useful for learning other languages, and it's kinda interesting)

My friend, Chris, her first name is Hrisoula. But we just call her Yiros. And because my surname is Scott I've always gotten jokes like 'Beam me up, Scotty' and 'Scott no friends'. Fuckin' stupid unoriginal cunts. Oddly enough, its never happened on this board, though.
