I wish I could drink beer...

I went to a gig last night, on my own and all you can while waiting about is drink. I wanted some booze, but everything was expensive, except for the beer. So I had some beer... and I actually felt physically ill. After 2 sips i felt like I had to puke. But I finished the glass anyway because I didnt want to waste my 2 euros.

Now tell me, how do you guys do it? Do you have to kill your tastebuds first or what? I want to get drunk easily too :(

You'll have to train it. I hate the taste, too. But it's the only thing

If you're trained to drink lots of it, whats the point? It would be that much harder to get drunk.

once in a while I'll enjoy a vodka with orange juice, nothing too fancy, but it's a damn fine drink. I get wild with mixing around the holidays.

Trained means: not to get a bad hangover and to stand the taste.
Vodka is "meh" to me and I don't want to pass out after one drink
So: I'll stick to beer. Nothing against a cool cocktail once in a while
though of course :)

Oh I understand Curry. Curry is mightee tasty. Especially with a huge naan. Yeah, I'm definitely pro-naan.
But I hate that I can't drink beer, because at stinky smokey concert places it's all you can drink. I like wine and girly mix drinks, but that's twice as expensive and it makes you look like a bit of a sissy twat.
