i'm at my mom's house right now, so i figured i'd sign in here since i haven't since november 1st. things are alright with me, i guess. me and robby still have our apartment. his band is doing well. i finally got a cell phone again. and i got a haircut last week.
i just searched for the thread about the boy who attacked the people in mass. and killed jim cell, and i was pretty surprised to see that it didn't turn into a big conversation on here. maybe that's just because it's a huge deal here. jim was pretty much my dad's best friend. he was actually just at my mom and dad's house the night before he died, working on a car with my dad.. and i passed him on my way to work the next morning while he was taking radar (but even though i was speeding, he just waved at me like always, because i'm "mark's kid".) i mean seriously. i live in a town with no more than 1,800 people. there have only been 4 cops in history to ever die on the job in this county, and the last one was in the 60's... and before that, the 1800's.
there were over 1,000 policemen at his funeral today.. and tons of tv cameras and all that. i think they have no business here. i mean, i understand other cops paying respect, but i spit on the tv crew's van.
