For those of you that have laptops, how were you successful in transferring LARGE files from desktop to laptop?

i need to buy one of those external drives

I haven't had any problems with an older Dell Latitiude i've had for awhile. My home network runs as smooth as a newborn baby's ass. Those external drives seem like good investments.

i like usb drives. i can carry transfer nearly anything from desktop to laptop to other people's computers.
