Follow these instructions:

right click,
choose Encoding,
double click format,
drag and drop to medium,
click OK to virus check,
go to tools,
manage add ons,
quadruple click cookie monster management,
type MP3 into word format,
re-format hard disc,
now wait for add on manager to cycle,
hit WMP to get media,
change desktop background to major US city skyline,
re-start computer,
open control panel,
click on sounds speech and audio devices,
wait for prompt to accessability,
re-arrange plug ins (if it asks),
if not continue on to sound devices,
double check desktop screensaver to see if shortcut to MP3 converter is up,
give keyboard double-smack
re-set monitor
open PC backside check all pin connections
stop, think about life and would it be better w/o comp?
re-assemble PC, restart whole thing.

I don't know, maybe ask someone who knows how to fix these things. I just don't have the touch.

i seem to have fixed it for the moment. i downloaded the keyboard drivers from the dell website. only problem is, i dont know WHY the drivers got deleted or whatever in the first place. it seems as if i have a virus, but my recently updated virus scan isnt showing anything. hmph.

keyboards like to reset themselves.

in your driver settings, make sure you don't have some weird configuration picked.

did you install any games or programs that could have changed it?

and a lot of times, if you just unplug it and plug it back in after you restart, it will fix it (if its stalling anyway)

so your typing brought up random letters and numbers?
one of my sister's friends rang up, asking for me, to help her cause she had the same problem. i suggested turning the computer off and turning off the power plug station thing and turning on and all that shit. she said it worked?

this happened today. bout 3 hours ago.

I once spilled beer on a keyboard. That fucked it.
