I read about the Vanity Fair cover early last week. Scarlett looks like she'll get heavy later in life. A Mae-West kind of heavy.

Keira has a better and probably healthier body than most women in Hollywood, even though she's thinnish. I think thinner is usually more appealing and generally healthier than heavier.

I don't particularly like any of them (Naomi, Nicole, Scarlett, Keira) as actors, although I've enjoyed some of the movies they've chosen. Smart choices, just not great performances.

I've seen lots of women who are size 6 and size 4 who still have unhealthy BMIs and who "jiggle" much, much more than women who are size 12 and 14. I don't think jeans size always correlates to health or fat levels.

That's me. And for the most part, it's not really anything I'm doing or not doing. I do cardio and weights three times a week, ab work 3-4 times a week, and eat healthy the vast majority of the time. The belly is there in beach pictures of me at three years old; according to a doctor, my back arches in more than most people's, which doesn't help. It's just a problem area I've always had. It is definitely flatter than if I ate whatever I wanted and didn't work out, but it's still a belly and is out of proportion with the rest of me. I guess it would probably be a bit flatter if I went to the gym every single day and ate an even stricter diet, but I'm pretty sure that even if I was anorexic it would still pooch out.

Just thought I'd add some perspective. Everyone has their problem areas. Some of those girls you see might be working hard at eating right and exercising. It's just a tough spot if you're predisposed to holding weight there. It's not like you use your abs a lot in everyday life, as opposed to your legs, arms, etc.

i'm not trying to make you feel bad, i only ask because i may not to be able to speak for all guys, but i know that i personally have absolutely no frame of reference for women's clothing sizes. if a girl tells me she wears a size 9, i have no mental image at all. don't know what it means. but if she wears something that's too small for her and she's got rolls spilling out, i do notice that, and i can probably safely say that most other guys do, too. there's nothing wrong with being bigger, it's just that rolls are unattractive and the problem can be eliminated with clothes that fit. i think. it may not work if you're naked, but if someone's looking at you naked, chances are you don't need to impress them with your clothes anymore.

basically my whole point is, if it's to impress the opposite sex, it's really counterproductive. if it's for some other reason, then i can't comment really.

I don't know I guess it's just me...I know most guys wouldn't care if a girl was a size 22 but still looked amazing, but I guess from reading too many celebrity magazines about how "small" and "petite" some women are and how they are only a size 2 or less makes me feel insecure and I think about that everytime I try on clothes.
