no but I was swimming underwater once and when I came to the surface, I opened my eyes and there was a turd right in front of my nose.

My buddy shit in the water and threw it in my direction and I didn't even know it.

I think I'd rather deal with the shark.

I'm pretty sure it was a mako shark (http://www.divernet.com/biolog/pics/mako698.jpg). The water is crystal clear so I got a good look at it. My senses were well and truly spiking from the adrenalin and it was so close, so fucking close.

I was trying to spot the next set and turned around to see a dorsal fin coming towards me and thought 'fuck, I'm going to die' but it just glided past. It seemed to take forever to go past me. It was fucking huge. The thing is, as far as sharks go, that was really only a medium sized shark. Great Whites can go to more than 6 metres (20 foot). Once I'd gotten my brain back I yelled to the 5-6 others that were out what I'd seen and we went got out of the water quick smart.
