Interpretation = Change.
Not all change is good. Interpretation, depending on who's doing the interpreting, could be quite bad.....especially for those on this board who think the current makeup of the Supremes is awful.
Worse nightmare for a Liberal = activist conservative Supreme Court (aka "kiss Roe v. Wade goodbye!")

I find it hilarious that a government whose entire political viewpoint is based on a willful misreading of the law can have people in it that claim to be "originalists."

If they were real 'originalists' they would be livid, foaming at the mouth, at what the Bush administration is doing.
For example: If you are a true originalist, you don't support public schooling.
