First of all, I want this to be an escape from the celeb status of "oh he did this and he did that." Fuck that, if I like the music, I'm open ears for the lyrics which makes the music having more meaning.

Go ahead with internet theory, go ahead and classify it upon your needs if you will just to get your internet status, but some bands have gotten it down for you to cry . For me to cry. Shed a little tear at least.

I'll go ahead and tell you a few. I'm not afraid.

Pearl Jam
Pink Floyd
Johnny Cash
Frank Sinatra
A Perfect Circle

Here Comes a Regular - the Replacements

I lived every line, it blew me away when the first time I heard it and still stops me in my tracks when I hear it unexpectedly...which is very rare, but does happen once in a Blue Moon.

First the lights, then the collar goes up, and the wind begins to blow
Turn your back on a pay-you-back, last call
First the glass, then the leaves that pass, then comes the snow
Ain't much to rake anyway in the fall

oh shit yeah. Good one

New Order has one that gets me all the time. Something bout his journey on the battle field. Ends up dying and his soul goes home afterwards.

Will do, thanks bro.

I guess people can describe me as "emo" but I'm too old for classifacations of the human nature. The blues is mainly my favorite music.

Political blues? Fuck that, we all know the world is fucked now, needn't go in depth with it.

Billy Corgan. I don't know where he's going nowadays but he can get me to tears just by his guitaring, let alone his lyrics. It's very seldom that I can go to whimpers just by hearing someone strum.

That song about that guy that his wife left him and his dog peed on his towel and someone put sugar in his gas tank is a real honest to Mohammed Bomb (http://web.israelinsider.com/Static/Binaries/Article/muhammadcartoonart_0.jpg)

Phyliss Hyman. She's a r/b artist who hung herself."Meet me on the moon" was my wedding song. It's hands down the most touching ballad I've ever heard. This woman sung from her heart and soul.Great artist who never made it and had an unfortunate death.God bless her.
