What else do you guys do on the computer while you're BBMBing? I mean like some of you people spend several hours on here but what are you doing between posts?

Obviously there's the people (like cosmo, Echewta, etc.) who have a whole e-social life and probably spend their time in-between posts on AIM or MSN or myspace or other internet-friend-things.

And then there's the people whose posts are all about sex (Turdberglar, Dandyfop) who have blatantly got about 7 windows of porn minimized while they're typing, and when they're not typing are furiously masturbating.

Then you've got the people who go on BBMB at work. Like little j, mickill and people like that. They like us to think that their relationship with BBMB is purely casual, that they are actually too cool for this message board shit and are only in front of the computer because they have to be. But we all know this isn't true and they eventually have to ask to be banned because they aren't actually getting any work done.

Then there's people like paul jones and Lindsay_1535 who only come on here when they're really drunk and probably don't even remember signing up here. Like a Dr. Jeckyll and Mr. Hyde sorta thing.

Then there's the people who come on here to try and carve out a really unique, quirky, crazy personality for themselves, which is completely different to how they are in real life. DroppinScience, ToucanSpam, Freebasser, etc. That's pretty much a fulltime thing, no room for distractions.

I guess I'm a little bit of all of them. Right now I'm trying to write a 2000 word coursework essay on "The Nature of War in Shakespeare's Coriolanus", but it's just not happening. Curse you BBMB!

now that i am working, i come here during work because either the stuff i am doing is so easy/boring that i need somehting else to do (ie: right now i am folding papers) or i am just avoiding doing the work that i have to do.


during school, its usually more spread out during the day and i log on whenever i am at the computer and whomever i am chatting with isnt entertaining enough to keep me occupied.


i am a multitasker, and work better when i have multiple things in front of me. so this place sometimes actually helps me get work done faster

now that the majority of my working day is spent on a computer, i don't use this one nearly as much as i used.
and this place is no longer one of the first places i visit when i sift around on the net.
generally, i check emails, look at box scores and the like, visit another forum, visit other sites, watch stuff that i've downloaded, ferret around on auction sites and online stores...sometimes i fuck with msn and/or myspace but not often.

Oh I get a fair amount of work done whilst bouncing in and out of here. 95% of my job is net based. Quite often I'm in 'private tutoring' with one of my students (not as kinky as that sounds, trust me) while I'm here. Many of them are not very textually literate so it can take them ages to type out a sentence. So I have this window open and theirs and switch back and forth.
