rick rubin IS producing the next metallica record. there had been a lot of speculating for the last couple of months 'bout this rumour.

metallica have also moved labels - to Warner which i'm not sure about.

i'm really hoping Rubin (who isn't stupid) tells the band straight up that most of their latest stuff isn't 'authentic-Metallica'. he's kept Slayer in a straight head as far as their music goes, hasn't made them change their sound... i hope he does the same for 'Tallica.

I spotted him riding shotgun in an suv last summer on sunset blvd. That goofy beard stood out from a mile away! I'z all, man there's only one person that could be. Ok maybe 1/3, dj dbl r, dusty hill or billy f gibbons. true story.
