What does the word "love" mean to you?

Do you say love if you don't even mean it? Does it mean nothing to you? Or would you only say it if you truely felt you loved someone? And what if they don't feel the same? Would you still love them? What exactly does the word love mean to you?

Saying you 'love' something doesn't seem to mean that much anymore. You hear folks all the time saying they 'love' things/people/places what have you. It's simply a substitute word for like. But a stronger like I guess.

To exhibit true 'love' it has to be done with actions, not words. (note: I don't necessarily mean kinky actions, either :rolleyes: )

the word "love" means extortion to me... it's like that budwiser commercial that came out 10 yrs ago with that those 3 guys on a fishing trip and they were sitting in the dock and that one guy kept telling his friend he loved him and shit and his friend was like " you're not getting my beer, bob!" and so the guy turned to the other guy there and he was like " forget it bob!"

same here... if someone says " I love you!" it's more like, "I need about three fity" or "I need you to do some shit for me to get me outta trouble"
