No, I too have a low tolerance for people in general (if that's what you meant)

I tend to enjoy being around strangers in everyday, casual situations. I kind of enjoy watching them, the interactions.
I dislike forced socializing--getting together with people whose company I don't particularly enjoy, doing things that don't particularly matter.
I value my time a lot and tend to try to spend it in ways so that I have net positive experiences. I don't have a problem being alone--I'd rather be by myself than to be with people who make breathing a chore.

You just took the words right out of my mind.

Depends on my mood, which is pretty damned unpredictable. I typically dread pre-planned socialization. Half the time when I cave in and go, I have a fab time. The other half I end up exhausted by self-consciousness and the chore of seeming interested in what's going on when in my heart I'd rather be home listening to music or surfing the net. On the bright side, I agree with the poster that commented they don't have a problem being alone. "I am bored" is never a comment you'll hear come out of my mouth. As they say, "if you're bored, you're boring." ;)

I ahve a friend with tourettes syndrome. He's a nice person, in his way, but I can no longer spend time with him, as he just sucks the will to live out of me.
He is selfish, paranoid, tight-fisted, greedy, attention-seeking, demanding and needy. Whenever I meet him, it consists of him apologising for four or five hours about something he feels he has done to offend me, with me repeating every 5 minutes "no it is fine" - without him getting the hint to shut the hell up. He then talks at length about his problems, which would be interesting if it wasn;t for the fact that is all he ever wants to talk about. Or crappy crime dramas which he KNOWS I can't stand.
And he ALWAYS works out the change down to coppers when he gives you the money so that you can buy HIM a drink while going to the bar, etc. Even though it is literally 5p, 10p, even though I've bought him drinks without expecting anything back on COUNTLESS occasions, even though he ALWAYS eats all the snackfood in the house with impunity when he comes over.
I really can't hack seeing him any more, as it is always just such a pain...

I've pretty much cut all the drainers out of my life. except one flakey girl. but she's harmless. she either barely talks, is having a terrible time, or talks incessantly about how much her job sucks and how her cat is crazy. Lately, I just don't talk to her much. or I just start talking about myself until she gets bored.

...as an introverted INFP, I find people to be a pretty big drain. There are a few in this world who charge me up, but generally, it's all work and I can't wait to go home and shut the door.

Yes, people do drain me. Its why I prefer to spend as much time alone as possible and I prefer my only human contact to be online.

You know what's draining me today? Reading anything on this board.
What a bunch of mardy fucks.
I just wasted 15 minutes of my life reading all this shit, now I'm going to go to bed.
But on a positive note, I can now walk without my crutches.....high five!
