To the east side, well far east side that is.

It has come time for my vacation. Bags are packed, my flight leaves in 8 hours and I'll be in China tomorrow afternoon.

I'll be checking the usual places such as Changchun, Shanghai, Beijing and Hong Kong but what I'm really hoping for is a visit to Tibet. The wifey's telling me it might not be an option though due to the lack of time.

Oh well, I'll just go there next time if not.

In the meantime, ya'll take care. I might jump on the board once and a while, depending on whether my hotels have a computer or not.

Don't wear yourself (or the wife) out on the first night. Pacing is the key.

Heh, if Tal means what I'm thinkin, it's been a month. I really don't think 5 minutes will wear me out.

Oh yeah G, the cuisine will be eaten. I don't care how many Chinese restaraunts in the states claim to be number one, they aint shit till you go there to the source. (y)

Beijing is dope. even though it's a cliche, definately go to all the tourist spots (ti'an'a'min square, the forbidden city, behie park, summer palace, temple of heaven, and the great wall. there's an old air-force base on the outskirts that's worth checking out, too (it's a museum now with all sorts of aircraft). bartering is key, too. have fun, man.
