View Full Version : Rick Rubin's producing Metallica's next album
I think the title of the thread pretty much sums it up. Big name producer signing on with Metallica. Maybe the sound will come out better than St. Anger.
Thoughts?

hopefully he'll let Lars use a snare drum instead of a pot.

Haha
I think this could be good news. Either way, Rick needs to start being a bit more selective about who he works with.

Anything will sound better than St. Anger. I like Metallica, mostly their older work, but damn, even the biggest Metallica fans I know were dissapointed with St. Anger.

^^Yes...at least on a track or two.
Didn't Metallica's last album do poorly? I would think Rubin's involvement will end up being a very good thing.
