Can we have an inventory of how many people have a Stevn Colbert, or Steven Colbert related, display picture/avatar (whatever you want to call it)? If it's any less than 200 I'll be disappointed.

oh, he's from The Daily Show.....

He was on the Daily Show, now he has his own show called the Colbert Report. He was also on Strangers with Candy and Exit 57, some old shows on Comedy Central. He was once a writer/performer on the Dana Carvey Show. He got started at Second City.

paulb

Did you see his interview to that black man 2 days ago, the author of that Hurracaine Katrina book. That shit was hilarious "Please come back next year during black history month"

Colbert really is alot funnier than Jon Stewart....I was checking out those youtube vids of him last night.... you see that vid of him on The Daily Show where he wanted to be called by his 'real name', Ted Hitler.

DandyFop
02-24-2006, 06:23 PM
Colbert is just....sigh....the man, man.

That Ted Hitler one is fucking awesome. Don't they both kinda lose it? That's the best. He totally lost it last week when he combined Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy's names into Filliam H. Muffman - he couldn't handle it.

paulb

oh man, that guy was almost as quick as stephen. i liked the part where colbert asked him if he was pulling a kanye west and the guy said "well that would make you mike meyers except you'd have to be quiet"...burrrrnn

Colbert is just....sigh....the man, man.

hahaha oh god, filliam h. muffman. even in the repeats, that part made me crack up.

i'm worried about colbert though, because he plays his part so well. it's like, if you play a character convincingly for a long enough time, you sort of eventually become it, i wonder if he's in danger of doing that too?

I wonder if Colbert is the type of show that will be released on dvd...prob not. Id love to be able to watch the episodes over and over again. He is just the man. Plain and simple.

i just can't stomach sedaris.

DandyFop
02-27-2006, 06:47 PM
Why can't you stomace sedaris? Although I have to say, Jellineck and Noblet are totally my favorite on the show, much more than Jerri.

I am bumping this because I found a clip of Stephen losing it that I had never seen before - it's a little long, but once you get to the part with the banana, pure gold. http://www.youtube.com/?v=zLZUIUGMuRk
