Yes, I feel strange.
For me, to be 20 years OLD is not that comfortable.
I wanna be 16 again....

I'm almost 21... 21 is great age beacuse now it's legal to drink and party hard... I guess that's why they call that store forever 21... You're not too old but you're not a kid either... so now I'm finally young and hopefully get more respect... yeah right :p

but i wish I was still under 18 so I couldn't get severely punished for a crime I commit (y)

At least your not 24 like me, i think 21 is the best age you can drink and still look young enough to be in high school.

25 was the biggie for me. it's where i noticed that i was ticking a different box on application forms. that bothered me for some reason. now i've turned 26, i really dont care. for now. i have thought for a long time that 38 is good age, so i am looking forward to that.

Turning 20 is really nothing special. Except that you can buy booze, at least here in Sweden.

Here at 20 you've been boozing for 4 years already, you're legal already, so yeah, absolutely nothin exciting about your 20th birthday (n)

when i was 16 i was always making a huge deal outta my life and community. i wanted it to be soooo dawson's creek and in my head it was. now it is everything i would least like in my life.

i am 22, turning 23 in the summer. i think that's really the start of being in your "twenties". it's true what brodie says tho; when you start ticking a different box is sorta comes home. not for me yet, though. and how can i really feel old when my fucking dad is still paying my rent? thanks dad.

i remember very clearly turning 13 and being like "ohmygod! i'm a teenager! my childhood is behind me!" [can you believe that??!] and becoming all nostalgic looking at pictures of me as a very young girl at a birthday party or something, with a very simple, satisfied smile on my face, and everyone looking at me with 100% unconditional love. i was sad for a very long time about it.

nostalgia is a killer. you should never want things to be as they were, because, hell - it's not gonna happen. why waste thinking about it if it is physically impossible?

i like to think the best times are still to come. i'm not even a "proper" adult with "proper" responsibilites yet [bye dad!]. i'll see what i think then!

I started getting worried about my age and looking older recently. but then I look in the mirror and realize that I still look like I'm 18. or under, I guess, since I get carded for smokes all the time. and the waiter almost refused to serve me at my 26th birthday dinner because he didn't believe I was "a day over 16".

I want to be in my mid-30's, then I want to shoot straight to being an old lady. none of that in between middle aged business.

No it's not. You're not a kid nor an adult, some kind of limbo. I do not like being 17.

The best age for me so far, and granted, I'm only 26...well, is actually, and to be completely honest...I guess, 26.

Honestly, and I've thought about this, as a matter of fact, because I'm practically 27 (will be in April) and approaching 30...and I really have no desire to "relive" any age. Been there, done that... It's all relative...the shit I found "fun" and exciting at age 21, for example, doesn't really give me my kicks anymore. I guess because I'm the type of person that lives and repeats what I find "fun" over and over again to the point that it's almost like beating a dead horse, almost...it's been so played out for me that eventually I get bored with it and have to seek out new "adventures".

A woman once told me that being in your 30's is the best age...because that's the point really in your life that you start to become content with yourself and who you are as a person. You don't really give a fuck anymore about what other people think. You start to become "at peace" with yourself...that it was almost a calming feeling, so's to speak. And the closer I get...the more and more I'm starting to agree with the chick. I am becoming a lot more "at peace" with my self. Seriously!

Drinking is not all that. I mean don't get me wrong...I enjoy doing it and all, but I think that the "idea" of it is more thrilling when you're "underage" and when you're doing it because, in a way, you know that you're not suposse to be...kinda like the whole "forbidden apple" philosophy.

Well, I can only speak for myself here...but, I'm not a drunkard lush or anything (anymore ;) ). I just like to drink...I work, have a good job, and I pay my own bills. So, if I want to get a little buzz on...it's all good! (y) No harm done, right?!
