my cat sits on the toilet all the time now. and goes behind it and pokes the pipes. I say, "HAY YOU GET OUT OF THERE GROSSY!" and everytime I go to the bathroom, he opens the door walks in and makes you pet him while you're on the pot. then he walks out, then comes back in a few seconds later and looks at you and then pokes the garbage and then maybe jumps in the bathtub to drink out of the faucet.

I think I should train him to go potty in the toilet, since he's so enamored with it now.

train him to scrub the toilet. and when his cleaning power is through, just dispose of him and get a new toilet cat.

You should train it to flush the loo a la Robert De Niro in Meet The Parents.

heehee you said faucet instead of tap! cute.
cats are attracted to anything which is higher or just opens up into a big void [toilets, lofts].
my cat always went crazy when we had the opening to the loft/attic open. meowing and curious like crazy. we'd put her up there just to shut her up and she'd just spend all her time meowing, looking.. for something.
i am convinced cats can see ghosts. maybe you have a haunted toilet?

yeah, one time he made it to the top of the fridge and was meowing incessantly because he couldn't get down from so high. we were like, "what the crap is he yelling about?" and then found him up there where he was dancing around and purring saying, "mraww, har har, look what I did!"

Is that why Sarky's loves her?

I'm kidding! I love Sarky and her urban hipness, especially in home-oriented anecdotes like this that show that she's just a simple sweet girl like the rest of us.

whenever i cme home for lunch, my kitty is peering out the window waitong for me, then when i walk up the stairs she rushes to the door, when i walk in she hunches her back way up and looks all cuddly.
hah the other day, my brother left a big plastic cup half full of water, she jumped to the table and stuck her head in :D, then she proceeded to get the water by dipping her paws in the water and licking her paws, but she does that anyways.

just thought id share.

U-SA-NA and Mr. Kiwi follow me everywhere about the house, especially our bathroom. While I poop, take baths...

I think it's a more enjoyable experience with company.
