The other day, in a french documentary report, they filmed and follwed a story of a 16 year old meditating for a long time already, 300 km from Katmandu. It was interesting. Apparently, he went to sit and meditate 8 months ago, saying he needed 6 years to reach buddhahood. It's not clear, but they claim he hasn't eaten or had any drink for the whole time.
Locally, they call him little Buddha and say he is a reincarnation of Buddha. He has spoken very few times and once he did say not to call him that. They celebrate his mom as the mom of Buddha and his little sister the little sister of Buddha.
