So I've got acid pro, I've got a loop and I have got a acapella..

...I just don't know what to do.

I've cut a very basic bit from a tv show theme tune and want to try looping it over and over whilst an acapella plays. The loop has 4 beats. I'm going to start with a beastie boy one as I dont really understand how I find out the tempo.

Is there any guides out there to help me mix something like this using the software I have? I'm really complete new to doing something like this? Does everything I've said even make logical sence?

you can use acid to find the bpm's.
save the file as a .wav and reopen it with acid. It will ask if you want the beatmapper to run. allow it to. It will automatically work out the bpm's. It works pretty well.
