i was born on a "cusp" day where the sun changes it's star sign in the meantime.
according to the stereortypical dates; i'm a leo and am lead to believe this my whole fucked up life.
now i've just read up that i've been a Cancer for the last couple of years :mad:

maybe, but it's like... i dunno - i've just been so boastful about being a leo, especially lately. but it's like living your life and then someone saying "oh nah, your first name isn't matthew either, your mum isn't your biological mother either". i'm just very spaced out by it.

and for the record, no one has one sign...you got like 10 of them at least...all the planets plus your rising sign. For example, my rising is Leo...so even though Im a Scorpio...I act like a Leo does.
Leo is up to August 22nd...if you're birthday is August 20th you're still a Leo with some slight Virgo tendencies.

just based off the sun sign, you can get generalized personality traits but without a chart its pretty inaccurate.
Believe me, Im the most skeptical motherfucker you will meet. I had a friend whos girl was really into astrology and she did my chart and it was shockingly accurate.

Actually, it takes a real star chart from an ANSTRONOMER (sp?) not an ASTROLOGER (sp?). I am a real virgo. The signs were from pagan mythology from over 2000 years ago. I am unfortuneatly, a real virgo. Stars move I guess...and the Earth does too.
PS I caught the comment about rising, and I am not an ASTROLOGER, nor anything else important. :)

i was born aug 15, but i was 2 months premature
i dont actually belive astrology stuffs, but operating under the assumption that its true, ive wondered if that would affect anything. it is kinda fun, even if it's useless.
and my astrology teacher was telling us how we're using out of date dates to determine signs, and that since those dates were set things have shifted and the starts rise at different times and so most likely you believe you're the wrong sign anyway. If you have a current start chart (1950 i think) you can check and see what starts were actually rising at the time of your birth

being on a cusp can be confusing if you ever want to bother reading about this stuff.
I'm a scorpio-sag.
A friend of mine who is obsessed with this stuff says that I am spot-on for that cusp. I'm constantly fighting myself, I guess. I always kind of ignored astrology but the more she talking about it the more I found it interesting and strange how much of it applied to me and people I knew.

it really pisses me off when my friends are with me and become either excited or worried or whatever because of what they've just read in the papers or magazines about their star sign
people actually do that? i'll read them sometimes and pretend act like im excited or something. mostly when its really outrageous. but then its total sarcasm. are you sure they arent being sarcastic?
