After re-reading the 1iota site, the taping is on the 9th (I don't think Carson ever really taped the same day it aired when it was in NY either, but I'll have to double check on that)

The show airs at 1am, so it's Friday late nite/ Saturday early morning. That's whyt he air date shows the 18th. Following me?

So when you wake up Friday (St. Patrick's Day) don't drink too much and pass out because later that night, the show will be on at 1am.

Hey Thanks ggirlballa! That's too bad you can't be there. Yes, it's in Burbank on the NBC lot. It specifically stated there are to be no cameras, or even camera cell phones. I'll try to provide the best recap I can for you guys tomorrow night. Ooooohhh the pressure!

When I got the invite for the block party, I had no idea what it was going to be. I thought he was just doing a segment for his show or to show appreciation or something. It was only known that it was in Brooklyn, not which neighborhood. I think they said some of the guests and that you would meet as X spot and be bussed to the block party.

everyone has asked him the same questions over and over about the film...People have been kind of asking them the same questions over/over for years, but usually, there's more energy to what they bring, how they respond to those rote, tired questions.

Maybe, like others have said, it was because Mike & Horovitz were missing. There is a dynamic when the three of them get together.

Oh how I love them, but they made me stay up late on a Friday night and watch Carson Daily.

Is this a real show? Or is it just a parody of a late night talk show? I know you Beastie-board people are usually critcal of whomever interviews the Beasties, so I tried to cut Casron a little slack. However, he is so unfunny, so unprepared, and so bland that I almost had to turn the channel before Yauch came on.

Considering Carson got to interview the Beastie Boys a couple of times during his tenure on TRL, you'd think he'd be smoother by now? Not the case at all.
