if it isn't, could i type my commands in different languages and still get the same results and just make it harder for people to figure out?

that's a good question....it never came up during my millions of hours of HTML and XHTML classes....
i'd assume it is the same....im sure w3.org has the answer.

You can use a different character set. Very rarely you will find pages where they use a different character set to mask the html.

Only the stuff you type in between the <p>kann in der jeweiligen
Landessprache erfolgen</p> e.g. can be done in different languages
…if you know what I'm talkin' about.
And of course the css-classes can be called as desired. ;)
