If so, let's discuss....

I do. Being an Eagles fan...it's always interesting to see what direction they take. Especially with losing T.O and possibly Runyun. They have quite a few holes on defense to fill. I would love to see them get Tamba Hali to sure up their defensive end rotation. But they also need a run stuffing tackle.

On offense they need another O- Lineman and another reciever to compliment Reggie Brown; maybe Santanio Holmes or Chad jackson.

They also need to get a power runninback (I just think they need to run more, not necissarily get a bigger back)

I usually only care when the Giants have a top 10 pick, usually anything after that, they're just filling in needs.

I usually still end up paying attention tot he 1st round, though.

Here's what I usually do...I'll watch to see who's in the first round and where they're going (which typically you already know, basically, who they're gonna be). Then, after that I won't make a point to actually sit down and watch it. I might leave the TV on, so I can here it, while I'm doing other things. Or, I'll just periodically check for an update, especially if it's a UT player. Even though they might not be very good, overall, I'm still curious. Then, once we start getting way down into the double digits...I'm not interested really anymore. I hate how they take so damn long in between picks...they drag it out too long, I think.

T.O...from Chattanooga and played for UTC.

yeah, the Eagles have a lot of room to play with free agency and get some picks signed quick....
you spelled it out: you need a stud reciever and depth on defense.

this is quite the year to be a Titans fan like me...
we got the #3 pick....and will likely be looking to draft our next franchise QB.

Leinart is my first pick....but i don't think he'll be there...
after that, Jay Cutler....
Vince Young is a distant 3rd in my mind...i think he can very easily become a bust.....i'd almost we rather go for Charlie Whitehurst in the 2nd round...

the latest rumor is that the Jets may trade up for the #1 pick and grab Leinart or Cutler...with saints taking the remaining.
leaving the Titans with either Bush or Young....
fuck i'd say niether (we don't need Bush, and Young is too much of a risk)...trade down and pick up Aj Hawk or D'brickshaw....and just grab Whitehurst in the second.

yeah...i've been spending too much time on the draft boards...

Yeah I know. I nut into the TO hype when he was signed. However since I went to PSU and they are coming off an Orange Bowl season, Im looking forward to see where they go.

Tamba Hali
Chris Harrell
Alan Zemaitis
Calvin Lowry

i really hope Bush doesn't fall into the Titans lap...unless we trade that pick away.

there are SO many other positions we need to upgrade....and RB is not one of them.

I dont know Q, Im not sold on on your runningbacks. Brown is injury prone and Henry is a head case.

I think that D'Brickshaw is a better investment for the Titans right now than Hawk.

yeah, chris can't stay healthy...but i think Travis will be very solid if we just keep feeding him the ball.
plus we got some depth behind them.
there are just many MORE pressing needs on our team.

I think that D'Brickshaw is a better investment for the Titans right now than Hawk.
D'brick would be a solid investment (considering we just dumped Brad Hopkins)....but we have a solid second year OLman ready to step up (jacob Bell) and can switch M.Roos to left tackle (he was pretty solid in his rookie season- 2005).
we could definately use D'brick though.
this draft is also pretty heavy on OL, so we don't HAVE to grab one in the first round.

but at LB (and secondary) we are REALLY hurting...in many of our losses last season, we got EATEN up thanks to our porous secondary and very slow LB (other than Bulluck). we need faster, stronger LB who don't get outrun and lost in the blockers.

look at the teams that are making the playoffs...they got studs like Troy P. in Pitt.....and Merriman in Seatle....these playmaking LB/Strong Safeties who bust through blockers and outrun the RB and recievers. gotta have speed in the midfield.
Luckily, this draft is FULL of potential stud LB's.....

It's the only reason why I liked the Texans season. Yeah we're number 1, we're number 1...draft pick. I think the Texans should draft Jay Cutler, according to The Brushback, he scored a perfect 100% on his Wonderlic test...blindfolded.

Carr is fine. you just need a line.
and D.Davis is a solid RB.

you get where i'm going....you need D.brickshaw.
if your team was smart, they'd trade down and take him instead of the flashy, fan-pleasing pick like Bush or Young.
but we know they'll take Bush.

I agree, instead of drafting the best person in the draft. Draft for need NOT want. I think Davis is fine; Carr will be ok if he just stop getting sacked and have time to throw.

I think OL, WR and TE are the priorities for the Texans

I think so. If his aking price isn't too outrageous. Plus I know you guys are supposedly releasing Bruener.

all i know is that the steelers have a ton of unrestricted free agents and we will be losing at least 1 or 2 fairly big named players. i think randle el might end up somewhere like chicago.

so being that they draft at the end, i have no idea what they take. i think it depends on who they sign

all 3 of the hyped up QBs are gonna be some wack ass benchwarmers in the CFL in 4 years. they are all scrubs.

Once you put leinart on a team that doesnt have great players at every position you'll see how wack he is regardless of "heart" and "grittyness" and "toughness", Cutler has a good senior bowl and goes to the combine and now he's the next brett favre,,,,, sure. Young has a chance to stick around a while since he could run and michael vick is proving that you can stick around as a QB who sucks at throwing the ball but can run. so maybe he'll be in the league for 5 years instead of 4

Cutler has a good senior bowl yeah, everyone keeps saying that for some reason, and it keeps getting repeated in the media....yet i WATCHED the senior bowl...and Cutler did NOT play good. the very next day, people were commenting on his average outing (i think like 4-12 or something with an int.....and then a late TD), shit, Whitehurst outplayed him.

Young has a chance to stick around a while since he could run and michael vick is proving that you can stick around as a QB who sucks at throwing the ball but can run. so maybe he'll be in the league for 5 years instead of 4 that's kinda my feeling too.
people keep talking about his super high completion %....but don't bother mentioning how the majority of his passes were to guys in the flat and on simple routes.....

still, i think Cutler and Leinart have the basic skills to be competant and productive. superstars? i dunno...
but they will have some good games and put up some stats.

Young will just run for 120 yards a game and throw for 40....and then get his leg broken.
