This shit does not look even remotely funny. Or interesting. Seriously. How is this man making money off of this? I've been patiently waiting for the hype to die. And it doesn't look like it will anytime soon. I've seen plenty of the supposed "highlights" from his movies and I assume that I must be missing the point or something.

I thought it was a cheap take-off on Martin Lawerence's 'Big Momma' character. And even that wasn't all that funny.

I saw Diary Of A Mad Black Woman and I didn't laugh once, but I don't know if I was supposed to. It really didn't make much sense. It was supposed to be a "comedy", but the "funny" parts were few and far between, and none of it was actually funny. I think it's a sociological case study of sorts. Marketing something as the complete opposite of what it is, and see how people will react. since there is a whole line of Tyler Perry movies, I guess the result is pretty positive.

that movie sucked tremendously. even if it wasn't supposed to be a comedy.

diary of a mad black woman was sooo weird. Especially at the end when they're all sining gospel :rolleyes: and it talked too much about jesus. :rolleyes:
