And it doesn't look like it will anytime soon. I've seen plenty of the supposed "highlights" from his movies and I assume that I must be missing the point or something.

I thought it was a cheap take-off on Martin Lawerence's 'Big Momma' character. And even that wasn't all that funny.

I saw Diary Of A Mad Black Woman and I didn't laugh once, but I don't know if I was supposed to. It really didn't make much sense. It was supposed to be a "comedy", but the "funny" parts were few and far between, and none of it was actually funny. I think it's a sociological case study of sorts. Marketing something as the complete opposite of what it is, and see how people will react. since there is a whole line of Tyler Perry movies, I guess the result is pretty positive.
