I went to the movies last night....with my wife.
We love watching the Coming Attractions.

I really wasnt expecting the Trailer for AIFST. MAN!!!
I involunteraly got up and started swaying like a b-boy when it came on....my wife was like awww there he goes. I believe i was about the only one in that theater that was geeked. It WAS aWeSoMe!! :p

My brother called me last nite from the movies .. it was the very first trailer for Dave Chapelle's Block Party.

Wow...there are actually promoting AIFST during other films. Given that it's a one night only thing, that surprises me.

an independent film showing a trailer for another independent film...


the one night screening is not what they are promoting..

they are promoting the limited release on the 31st...

i believe it will beexpnded to more markets, based on the success of the one night screening and limited release...

Actually my brother said the trailer during Block Party was for the 23rd not the 31st. He works at a Regal theater in Boston and in the lobby they show the trailer every 5 minutes.

And I think I forgot to mention last week that the poster is up in the Union Square Regal Theater as of at least last Monday.

The trailer was being shown right before "The Date Movie" at our local theater. Got tickets to see the show on the 23rd, I'm stoked!! :D

I stand corrected... I love it when I am wrong!! thats cool then, promoting for one night, and the poster is up, is it edited?

Not sure if the poster is edited .. I asked my friend to take a pic of it for me. And I think he said it was for the 31st, not the 23rd.

The preview before Block Party was for bigscreenconcerts (the Awesome Night 3/23). He said it was like a 30 second spot and said something about Brass Monkey.

I need to get to the movies to see for myself.

It was 16 blocks (w/Bruce Willis & Mos Def) great by the way!

THat trailer was RAW....it played BRASS MONKEY (live) with all kinds of cool footage of the B-boys...( they showed a cool shot of DMC with a fly smile). I think were in for a AWESOME suprise!! Man this is worth the wait!

Ooh the SOUND.....fuckin boomin!! hhaaahaa!! (y) :D

i just came back from seeing that movie...mainly to watch the previews but i missed a couple of previews at the beginning. i'm thinking that was one of them :(

it was a good movie though
