They're called radiohead. WTF! Take the loud annoying singing bits of muse, and the boring uniteresting bits of coldplay. Why can't people be original??

First off I hope this is a tongue in cheek comment - if it isn't you are showing your ignorance I'm afraid.
I don't pretend to be an expert on Radiohead, Muse or Coldplay but Radiohead's first album Pablo Honey was released in 1993, five years before the release of the other two's first albums/ep's (both 1998 I think).
In fact in 1998, Q Magazines readers voted Pablo Honey the 61st greatest album of all time.
Radiohead were (and still are) a very original band who never pandered to trends and have always done their own thing. The fact that their music has been successful in the US (a lot of British bands don't manage this) is testamony to this.
I could go on, but I'm not in the habit of slating people and their opinions - this one just bugged me a bit.
This is not to say that I dislike either Coldplay or Muse, nor do I dispute their own success across the pond!

Not sure if you're talking to me or Trimm Trabb.

If its me, sorry, its not meant to be any kind of nasty retort, but I figure with the internet at our fingers its easy to find out stuff about anything!

PS Radiohead beat the other two put together!! :D

God, you're such a n00b.
Don't take anything Trimm says seriously.

Still, Colplay are way sexier and original. And they don't make me want to cry.
Radiohead is like, SO depressing.

Tell me about it! I was perusing another message board earlier and I say some tongue in cheek remark about X and he's all "Well in 1804...blah blah" about X, and I'm all, "dude, I don't even care about X; shut the fuck up" and he's all "make me. if this were real life I'd cut out your eyes".

Retards.

    <-- take note, kids

Sexier? Original? Are taking the piss?
Coldplay are about as original as arse hair. Thats not a massive problem for me - they've ripped off shitloads of people, Radiohead are far more original and are prepared to take more risks.

And

Oasis > all of them ;) (y) (y) (y) (y)

The hardest thing about this message board is knowing when these clowns are being funny -- who the players are -- what's an inside joke and all that. I am a literal person and I can't tell you how many times I've posted serious responses to funny questions and then felt like an idiot for falling for it. :)

Welcome newbies and keep on posting your opinions.
