The best use of Beastie Boy's samples is Rodney O. and Joe Cooley doing "Everlasting Bass."
Oh, and EPMD does killer cuts with their breaks.

At the very beginning of Entroducing, that's Mike D sayin' "I don't even wanna hear about it you're just fessin'" Its from "Party's Getting Rough" on the Rock Hard EP.
Yeah, anyway, the beasties have been sampled so many times its crazy. You gotta watch out though because sometimes its just people sampling the same cut the beasties sampled. Lots of people have sampled "Super Fly" which is the break that Eggman uses. For example
Cookie Crew - "Come on and Get Some"
Curtis Mayfield ft Ice T - "Superfly 1990"
Geto Boys - "Do it Like a G.O."
Mistress & DJ Madame E - "Hypergroove"
Notorious BIG - "Ready to Die Intro"
They didn't sample the Beasties, just the same song the Beasties sampled. Which is really common in hip hop for some songs. The Appacie break for example, or the Juice break. License to Ill is full of breaks that all the old school DJs had been sampling for years before the Beasties came together.

Yah, the song was sampled by both the beasties and Christina/Nelly. Not sure the name of the sampled song though.
Upon further research, the name of said sampled song is "SuperFly" by Curtis Mayfield.

I always thought the MMMMMMMMMMM DROP was Adrock from the LTI album on "The New Style"
Let me clear my throat - Kick it over here baby pop
And let all the fly skimmies, feel the beat...MMMMMMM DROP.
AFAIK this isn't a sample.

Haha, cheers for that, I just listened to Best Foot Forward and for like, the first 40 seconds I'm litening and can't hear anything that sounds beastieish, then I hear 'I don't even wanna hear about it man you're just fessin' ' and I'm like 'that kinda sounds like Mike D. Yay :D
Of course, this means Shadow owns the Rock Hard EP. Not surprising I guess but it makes me very jealous. I love that about Endtroducing though, you're always hearing these little things you don't know about and you gradually notice them or learn about them.
Anyway, some peeps mentioned DJ Format and UD sampling them, tracks, anyone?

Uhhh...The Pharcyde sample the Beasties' "drop" on their song Drop. Which is, I think, what burbboi was saying.

..........also i have heard BARNEY the purple dinosaur tried sampling
"The New Style"(like the cherry to the apple to the peach to the plum)
....but the Boys had enough to maintain with all that Gangsta rap evolving....its just wasnt a good time for that. Thats actually the 1st time they met Sashquash....they thought he was "Ogre", from Revenge of the Nerds and hired him to ruff up Barney....the Boys compensated him by giving him a bucket of Pabst beer from a tap. Well Sash got greedy with the brew and decided to demand more and more....he never really approached Barney....he got sick before he left the small bar in Winsconsin.
The Boys felt they were shammed. Mike D was furious, and demanded that Sash go to the WTTW studios to keep his part of the deal.
Sash arrived at WTTW studios; extremley drunk, and tried to mistakingly ruff-up BIG BIRD...but was out numbered by Mr. Snuffle'ofuGUss...and was puzzled by Oscar the Grouch living in a can. When AdRock got wind of this...he found it amazingly appaulling, yet hillarious. This was the beginning of the BEEF between Sash and the Boys.
Sash had issues with his life after month long hang-over's and drinking binges...he has been spotted several times with several other missing links such as Kurtis Blow, Sly Stone, and Davey Jones (not the Monkee, but the sailor)
Kurtis Blow mentioned to a small local paper in Australlia that, "Squash was rather bitter at the Boys and wanted to make them pay"...."these are the Breaks"!
Sly mentioned to a reliable source that, "i don't know what those boys did to Sashquash, but he was rather upset, he refused to bathe for months...so i stopped hangging out with him....too funky for me, Jack"!!
Davey Jones was approached ....but refused to comment, my guess is that he is still bitter himself at the Boys for not sharing the royalties of the track "Rhymin and Stealin"??
Sash had scaled the earth for a few years; looking the boys since that night.
It is said that Sash almost gotta hold of MCA at the Hello Nasty tour in Chicago, but was distracted by the Beer-Vendor's backpak in the United Center....the Beer Vendor suffered a nasty nuggie...he was treated with an ice-pack and released from Rush Presbeterian hospital.....but his Beer Back-Pak was never found.
It is also said that some odd, smelly, shaggy hair strainds where found in MMM record-crates...at a show in California....no damage was done, but a few retro-funk records were missing according to the Mix Master...."I didnt mind the Public Enemy being taken, but DAMn....who takes Average White Band and Kool and the Gang!!" "That's just wrong"!!
Sash finally caught up with the boys shortly after their last Hello Nasty tour was over.
As for Barney, he was stuck with doing a silly song called, "Apple's and Bannana's".
In recent times....Sashquash was put into rehab in a facilty that housed familiar Classic Rock legends, and some 80's actor has beens. He is said to be doing a lot better, and is working on a project with Kurtis Blow and Sly Stone.
Davey Jones is working with Johnny Depp in the "Pirates of the Carribean.
