Wilco - Live in Chicago

Ok, so I finally listened to the new live album...

All I gotta say is WOW! What an amazing record. What was especially amazing was the fact that all the songs off "A Ghost is Born" sounded fantastic. And to think, when I listened to the studio album, I really wasn't feeling it. But live, these songs had the opposite effect on me. Looks like my faith in Wilco has been restored. I've never been more relieved.

Now I'm just gonna have to give Ghost is Born another chance...

I liked Ghost an awful lot. It's vaguely like their White Light/White Heat.

Haven't heard the live album yet, I'm afraid. :(

i want this sooo bad.

i LOVE Ghost! i don't even compare it to YHTF, because i think they're so different, and the songwriting evolved so much between them. seriously, i loved it from the first listen. and i've heard them live, and they're fantastic. i really want to pick up this collection, but i always have a hard time reconciling my checkbook with songs that i already have...just in a different version.

i really think they're one of the few great rock and roll acts out there today. the likes of supergrass.
