Do you have any "mortal enemies" on other message boards?

i know nothing of any of you,past BBMB....

just curious if you guys have other boards you go to, and if you have any famed mortal enemies of legend on there.

i occasionally go to this other local music board (i used to be a major poster, by i semi-retired from there)...and there are like 3 people that i squable with.

one is the resident "Fox Mulder" who constantly has some conspiracy theory that he is pushing out and trying to defend. (nice guy in person, though)

the other is this complete asshole, who makes "Qdrop" look like "ericlee" if you get my drift. we used to war like Israel/pakistan....he's part of the reason i quit...cause it spilled over into real life. he was in my social circle.

then there's this other new kid. whenever i occasionally go on there...he's always threatening somebody with bodily harm. he's a military guy, who's favorite line is "i'll punch you in the throat!"...and he threatens to come find you in club or bar and do so.
he's like the board "Incredible Hulk", if you make him the slightest bit angry, he goes apeshit hostile and threatens to kill you. and he's local.
total batshit violent insane.
no one knows if it's just internet balls or what....but he is in the military and trained...so no one wants to find out.
it's just so sad/funny to watch people walk on eggshells around him in every thread. no one wants to piss him off, and the Mods won't kick him off cause they're afraid of him too.
so every time he comes on a thread, people start "massaging him" and trying to make jokes and suck up, just to keep him calm.

No, I tend not to worry about internet relationships if they aren't all cutesy and mutually flattering. And as far as in-person, I try to get along with people. No, really, I have kind of enemies on a message board from back home. We all went to highschool together. The board is to keep in touch and plan parties and trips and make bets on sports. The enemies, I never liked them anyway, they're on the board with my friends, so I tolerate them and everything. But whenever I went to see them, we didn't talk. Actually I haven't been to their board in a while. They have a new site and I don't know the address. Maybe they're avoiding me. There's this one guy, A.J., and I think he's a total dick! He's really rude and blunt and makes offensive baby jokes and he always makes stupid coments about people....and I can't figure out why everyone there acts like he's the greatest. They kiss his ass. No one ever seems to talk to him about much, they just say he rules and they applaud and laugh after everything he says. Maybe I'm jealous. But I'm also frustrated because everyone is crazy except me.

I've been behind on the times for a while, I guess...this is my first and only message board that I have ever posted on/belonged to.

As far as, "real life" enemies...the one person that comes to mind, first and for most, is an ex-good friend of mine, Laura. We went to college together and, infact, she was one of my roommates for about 6 months. Well, I guess what ultimately did it for her was the fact that, well, umm...I ended up marrying the guy that she was "madly in love with", only he had no idea.

Long story...but, she had a boyfriend at the time (but, was and probably still is a big tease) and always had a big crush on Scott. Well, a bunch of us went out one night for Cinqo de Mayo (just an excuse to get drunk, pretty much)...and to make this long story short...we ended up falling madly in love and got married 7 months later (Stupid, Stupid...Stupid! But, I was young and rebellious...however, he did have a lot going for him and wasn't just some random loser.)

Anywho...Laura, ever since then, has had nothing but pure hate towards me. She talked so much smack about me, started a fling with my ex-boyfriend (we had just broken up and went out all through highschool and most of college...6 years), keyed my car, flipped me off everytime we passed each other on the road, got drunk and threatened to have me jumped...man, I could go on and on! Craaaaazzzy Asss Bitch!!! I mean, the woman went psycho!! Infact, I ran into her out at a restaurant sometime last year and she completely ignored me...STILL, 6 years later. There for a while, I was a nervous wreck to even go out in public. Crazy bitches...

I used to write on thelibertines.org.uk which was (unsurpisingly) the home of the official Libertines forum and I consistently clashed with some of the hardcore Carl Barat supporters who would spend their entire time trashing Pete Doherty/Baby Shambles etc. It got very dull with the same arguments being repeated over and over again. Not so much mortal enemies but we used to argue a lot. And I bumped into one of the main culprits a couple of weeks ago which was interesting - but civil obviously as I'm all about the peace

oh! wait! i do post on a vegan recipe forum on myspace occasionally. there's this one really weird industrial goth kid (i should totally post a link to his page, it's hilarious) that calls everyone else bad vegans and says we're less healthy than him because we use soy cheese or something. and he's just some dork-ass teenager that listens to really scary black deth metal!! (think: my Goths thread in sure shots) and has probably never touched a boob. but he gets into these tirades where he'll call every woman a whore and talk about how he hopes we die miserable deaths and then he'll turn right around and say "why are you all being so dramatic?" oh and he's really offensive, too. he would say things like how all "fags" need to be "exterminated" and he's part of this crazy neo-nazi group that involves death metal and homophobia. i did some research, and they're so wacked-out that not even regular nazis want to be associated with them. i think he stopped posting because everyone pretty much ignores him now. that's about the extent of it, though. only one or two messages of people berating him. other than that, i'm a peach. :)

Back in the day, I had many squabbles with a bunch of people on an Indiana Jones message board.

On that board, there were two different "groups" of people: "gearheads" (these were people who were so intent on getting every single aspect of Indy's costume... the hat, whip, jacket, YOU NAME IT... if Indy wore it in the movie, they wanted it) and "everyone else" (those who just loved to watch the movies and weren't that big into buying the "gear").

The vast majority of the "gearhead" people, for one reason or another, were a bunch of conservative Republicans, to varying degrees (with the occasional mix of evangelical Christianity thrown in for good measure). On top of that they were easily the most dull, uptight, un-hip people you could ever come across (99% of them middle-aged white men).

Me and my group of people (we called ourselves NIMers... very, very long story on that name) would constantly get into wars with them. And I'm talking EPIC lengths. Shit that occured that would make the biggest of squabbles on the BBMB look like kids play. It got to the point where we'd be equated to "terrorists" by these gearheads (9/11 was just around the corner, as well).

one of the guys I used to work with was in that habbo cult thing. At one stage I had about 20 different accounts and made a little chess set out of my men ie. "xKing" "xQueen" "xPawn1" "xPawn2" and I was trying to get a game of chess happening in one of the rooms :p I don't even know how to play chess :p


The admins on the internode game forums are my mortal enemies right now. They're a bunch of fascists having a big circle jerk. I'm not banned (yet) but they do like to lock/delete my posts when I question their adminning abilities. The best part is the PM's I get in support (y) I like to think I'm fighting the good fight cause some of these guys go way too far (especially in adminning during games - for example one of them gave my mate a permanent ban just because he didn't like him. My mate emailed the head admin who checked the logs for misbehaviours, which there was none, said nah that's not on, and hopefully now that's one less admin to deal with)
