Delete this if it's a double up, but how do we go about showing enough interest to get AIFST on the big screen down under? And by that I mean in New Zealand, too.
There are cinemas in my city which I know have played Sundance et al festival type treats in the past, often in limited runs. Is there a chance this would be the case in the Southern Hemisphere sometime before May?
It's just that seeing as this film is likely to win the Beatsie Beatsie Boys their first Oscars, it would be crucial for as many people as possible to see it in the form that was intended. I mean, Lord of the Rings was mad boring, but I still wouldn't wait for the DVD.
Peace.
