Which do you perfer?
1.Works without crashing,
2.You can have multiple programs going at the same time
3 . You can have music or movies playing and do work without the computer slowing down

I recently switched to Mac - it's a shitload faster than my other comp, and never crashes. But my PC was really old and had a ton of stuff on it, so....

i have a G5 Dual gig Mac.

had it for about 1.5 years.

use it EVERYDAY in EVERYWAY.

it's crashed maybe twice.
one quick reboot...and it's fine.

fuck a PC.

And I noticed with Mac, if a program crashes you can just restart the program again and carry on without having to restart the whole computer (in my experience).
I've only recently bought a Mac, but I'll soon be getting rid of my desktop pc and getting a G5.....there's just no comparison.

my brother is a graphic designer and he spins that same yarn, but cant give a plausible reason why....

the only thing in my experience i will give mac's the edge over is definitely video editing. Final Cut owns Premiere.

yeah in graphic design it doesn't really make any fucking difference in my opinion. i've used both. i'm more comfortable with PCs. the uni has macs, and the teacher told us to get macs, but meh. i'm a rebel. a PC loving rebel

I got one too! I'm sooooo in love right now. But kind of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I hook my laptop up to the stereo in my living room and how cool is the new screen and the remote when you listen to music? The camera is freaking me out though. When I went to register and saw my photo on the screen I was really thrown.

I had an ibook for 4+ years. It NEVER crashed except when the mother board died at the end of year 3. That was a big crash, but the nice Apple people fixed it for free. The newer motherboard died on Saturday and they probably would have repaired it again for free but it was time for an updated model with an internal modem that works in hotels when I travel. And I was going through a personal crisis and thus was super vulnerable to pampering myself. I have no idea how I'll pay the bill.
