have you noticed that every once in a while you come across someone who just isn't very clean? and i don't mean like bums or anything. but someone who is perfectly capable of cleansing themselves but they seem to not choose too. there's this guy at work and he's just completely grimey. his face is one gigantic blackhead and it looks like he has a full body tan but on closer inspection it's just grease and grime. fuckn' sickening. his hair looks like there's crisco in it and his clothes look like he washes them in bacon grease. he smells like a wet dog that has been digging in fresh soil. im pretty sure he has access to water. how can someone do this? people are completely creaped out by him and he scares the customers a bit. he seems to be a nice guy. like one of those guys that got severely picked on but is pretty much someone you can trust. maybe if he took a bath he wouldn't of gotten picked on.

and there's this family that lives a few houses down. they're the same way as the other guy but not as bad. but the whole family looks like that they take a shower like once a week. even their property smells like BO. im not kidding. you can definitely smell pungent funk when you walk by. they can definitely pay for running hot water becuase they have a gigantic big screen tv that can be clearly seen through the windows among other costly things. they just seem to choose to be filthy. i feel disgusting if i don't take a shower within a day. i feel a grimey and oily. i don't know how these peopel can put up with it. it's not like they're liveing in the hills or some small villiage in china with no running hot water or anything.

take a bath! shit! you're makeing my eyes tear

I had a boss once who criticised me for not wearing a full uniform like he did at work everyday. This guy fucking wreaked. He was in full uniform but had nerve damaging BO and breath so fucking bad it would knock a buzzard off a shitwagon.

Hygienically challenged motherfuckers. Take a shower and use some Right Guard. It's 2006.

some people just seem to stink too. my brother for instance. he's a clean kid. takes daily showers and wears cleans clothes but you can smell when he's home. he just smells like sweaty ass all the time. you know when someone takes a shower and you go into the bathroom right after? doesn't it smell pretty fresh most of the time? when he gets through it smells like a gym locker room.

there's a guy at uni that never bathes and he always seems to come into not very well ventilated areas (like the computer lab) and makes everyone want to vomit. he looks like he's always stoned or something. and he always stares at people.

There was this guy who had a crush on me in high school that never bathed. I didn't realise how bad it was until he asked me out. Never spoken to him before, so I wasn't prepared for how overwhelming it was. At first I felt bad because I didn't want to say anything rude, then as he kept talking I found out that for someone I had never had any interaction with, he knew a hell of a lot about me. So I didn't feel so bad about trying to get away from him. Or carrying a knife everyday until graduation.

someone i work with is like this. we actually had a discussion about showering not too long ago, and he said "oh yeah, i shower probably 6 days out of the week." i thought to myself, "you mean month." seriously. by the end of the day, being around this guy is painful.

i recently talked to this guy i used to hang around with for a while, and i seriously could not stand to be anywhere near him. my eyes were fucking watering, i felt seriously ill. he smelt like beer, cigarettes, BO and shit.

oh man, i went to school with this girl whose family apparently didn't believe in washing clothes. HEUGGHH. her boyfriend was equally creepy. even when she was sitting in his lap he'd be staring at you practically licking his lips.

there was this girl i went to highschool with that smelled like chicken soup. she seemed really normal and was wheel likes. just something made her stink whatever it was. the whole classroom would smell like chicken broth at times

I don't shower everyday. but I don't stink. sometimes I think I stink and I say, "hey, do I stink?" and make people smell me, but they say, "nope, you smell regular." even when I was younger and I'd come home from early morning basketball training in the summer all sweaty and take a nap without showering. I'd make my mom smell me when I woke up and she said I didn't stink.

my feet smell though. :( not so much in the winter however. (y)

I used to know this guy who smelled like musty mildew all the time. like he had left his clothes in the washer overnight, then just put them on.

also, in high school there was this kid who was dirty and greasy and had flea bites all over him and once I knocked his books out of his hands and kicked them down the hallway and called him a dork. not my finest hour.

Yes, I call those people "Europeans"....lol okay not all of them are like that but man o man there are more than a few who don't really use any personal hygiene products.

the only thing worse than a person like that is a person who knows there like that, doesnt do anything about it and then talks to people about it, like this girl in my class she tells us about how she gets alot of discharge and how her arm pits are really hairy etc, and she smells bad all the time and stuff and were all just like ewww.

The pit hair really isn't that bad, although if she doesn't bathe often or do any sort personal hygiene maintenance, I'm sure the hair makes things worse. But not shaving her pits isn't that gross in and of itself.

yeah, but its gross how she goes on about it to us, and its period, discharge, pubes, itching and flaking of skin in places, to hear that of ur class mate all the time is just not right.

I can't start my day without a shower. I just feel rank all day, which is why I very rarely skip my morning shower. In fact, I would be willing to put money on the fact that I have showered every single day of my life since I started showering. Even before I had showers I'd bathe every night. There's a smelly guy at work. I think he's realised tho. I used to have to hold my breath when he was around, then walk away for a minute to get some more breath then come back to what I was doing. Either that or I'd find something really smelly like burnt acrylic and keep it in my hand and smell that while breathing to cover up his rankness. Not good (n)

Sometimes, I think it's apathy. It's not that they don't know they're foul--they know they are and they don't care.

I have two friends who maybe fall into that category, though not as severe as what you've described.

The one bathes but he doesn't wear deodorant. He needs to. He wears powder, but it doesn't take him through the day. He gets nasty body odor.

The other takes excellent care of his teeth and has no dental problems, but he doesn't eat often enough and he's frequently in ketosis. Ketosis breath is rancid.

Both of them know that they smell--people tell them outright--but to them, it's not a big deal on the relative scale of things. Moreover, when people tell them that they're stinky, I think they think that those people are small for saying so or for not just putting up with it.

If someone told me that I had a hygiene problem, I'd be mortified and I'd do something about it. I'd do it for the right reasons but at the very least, I'd do it to avoid grossing people out.
