Did you watch the end of Project Runway yet?

I did.

I wasn't sure who should win, personally. None of the collections were very strong to me.

Santino didn't win, amazingly enough. I thought he would/should kinda, because he is a real artist, but his collection at fashion week didn't show any of his real talent. Too bad :/

daaaamn. yeah, he's really crazy and artistic enough to be in the fashion world. but he just was too much of a prickface.

Haha yeah. I like the show because it's never really focused on the "drama" between the designers. Obviously there's going to be some, but mostly it's just a talent showcase. Not like the designers themselves are voting people off or whatever.

Santino is a lil bitch but he is really talented...

Hey Doc, I just wanted to see how you've been doin. I gave that last Stones album a second listen the other day and it turns out that it is actually pretty underwhelming. Big surprise. You were right, I was wrong.

I think Chloe is a fantastic designer...they are right, the real difference between her and Santino is that Chloe can actually design clothes for real women...Santino doesn't seem to know a woman's body very well.

I didn't think either of them had very strong final collections. I think that over the course of the show, though, Chloe showed that her style is much more women-friendly than Santino's. To me, his is more of just art while hers is actually wearable.

Did you see that hideous (http://www.newyorkmetro.com/fashion/fashionshows/2006/fall/main/newyork/womenrunway/santinorice/images/11.jpg) leather thing with the huge sleeves in Santinos? Ugh.

He didn't seem very flamboyant to me (compared to some of the other designers, I guess). It was interesting that he was a little more toned down after seeing what an egotistical assface he came out as on some of the show.

It was creepy, when they were picking the people who would be their second set of "hands", I predicted each one correctly lolzz...I had thought a while back though that the final 3 would be Santino, Chloe and Nick. Close enough, I guess.

I was looking at Santino's line, and Kara apparently had a show (http://www.newyorkmetro.com/fashion/fashionshows/2006/fall/main/newyork/womenrunway/karajanx/) also at Fashion week? I don't know, weird - I do like a lot of her stuff there though.

Thanks Dandy! I can't believe there was a whole thread for me and I didn't know it!

It's a bit creepy, but at the exact time you all were posting in it, I was having the worst day I've had in years and nearly quit my job. :o

I was disappointed in the finale. I thought last season was more fun. Chloe is talented, but all her stuff looked the same to me. Tim Gunn said on his podcast that he liked Santino's collection more than the judges, but he didn't want him to win because next season would be full of crazy designers. Tim has a big crush on Ms. Messing, btw.

Ah whatever. It's over now. I should listen to Tim's podcast, I did for most of the episodes but not the end.

Yes, Santino's gay.

The newspaper ran an article saying that only one of the men on the show is straight. My early bet was on Daniel V, but it turned out to be Daniel DeFranko. I am disappointed in myself.

Yeah, Top Chef doesn't quite balance out because...you don't taste clothing.

But I'm still watching it.
