as some of you may have heard...The Sheaf, a student newspaper at the University of Saskatchewan in Canada (which refused to run the Mohammed Cartoons, btw) ran a nasty Jesus cartoon earlier this month...which got the Editor fired and made national Canadian news....and now is making US national news.

hmm.....so why don't we see north american Christians rioting and looting?
why aren't north american christians burning down businesses of evil athiests and blasphemers?

Well, if Canada was a backwards theocracy riven with joblessness, poor education, and a complete lack of opportunity, Canadian Christians might indeed be rioting. Because the divide between the Muslim world and the "Christian" world (I would not describe Canada as a "Christian" country, by the way) involves much, much more than just religion.
