there are currently a few display issues with the forum that has got to do with an update we just did of the vbulletin software. we'll have it fixed as soon as possible.

it should be pretty much fine now. as soon as any of you notice anything out of the regular as far as forum display goes, feel free to report it in here.

I've noticed I can't display foreign characters on the user title. For instance, κορίτσι, or γυμνός.

there shouldn't be an Ä

EDIT: problem solved, just had to go to Edit profile and retype it the way it should be

There are still some characters which are diplayed wrong. e.g.:

(at least in older threadheadlines)

For the most part, the character display issues have to be manually edited. So, we won't be able to do that for threads/posts with incorrect characters in them. However, for things like your own user title etc., if you notice a character isn't displayed correctly, you can edit it yourself in the User CP (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/usercp.php).

When you wanna post a link (http://img435.imageshack.us/img435/1391/aifst6cg.jpg) you can't type the name for the link first, just the URL straight away.

I have suddenly been logged out a couple of times resently.

Also while you're at it: could you fix so that when you're checking out a thread in Photos and wanna go back to Photos main menu you can choose it straight from the bottom scroller so it doesn't just show User Control Panel.

as for the photos forum not showing up in the forum jump drop list, just added it now.

The automatic logout occurs after 15 minutes of inactivity on the boards if you haven't opted for the site to "remember you". To solve this issue, make sure you tick the "Remember Me" check box when you sign into the forums.

If you're already doing this and still experiencing problems, I'd suggest clearing all of your temporary internet files in your browser then trying again.

anyway of getting the little black line under the thread title to change colour to the blueish colour... like the line above the sig.

this is just a personal preference.. it just looks out of place in the black/dark grey colour - stands out more too (web designer inside of me gettin irritated by it) :p

thinkin about changing the line to the post header color as in the bgcolor for the bar above this post displaying username and such. it might come off a bit smoother.. but that's putting in too much thought so we'll keep it like this i guess. (y)

It's set at 5 hours. We haven't changed that.

Your account appears to be fine. Have you tried logging out, clearing all temporary internet files (including cookies) then logging in again and trying to post a topic in that forum?
