last night we heard squeaking. earlier in the bathroom I heard tiny feet running in the ceiling. I am pretty sure that George will protect us, but I still don't like the fact that rodents are quite possibly invading my home. we haven't found any poops, and our cabinets containing food have not been infiltrated.
God bless this filthy city, but I do not want to accidentally find a rat in my pants, or a mouse in my shoe. :(
there's just something about mice and rats that make me squirm a bit. rats did spread the plague, though, eh?

Just get one of those cage traps, and maybe some mouse traps. If you catch a bigger critter in the cage, it's a good excuse for a drive to the country

Drop your trousers and spread butter on the floor. Don't forget to gargle with mouthwash too. That'll be rid of 'em.

what you need to do is get some big corks to hammer into the mouse holes. you should get a bird in a cage too. that and your cat... sit back and watch the hi-jinx ensue.

The house I'm in is old and every autumn, a mouse or two finds its way inside. They're looking for warmth. My one cat usually finds them and brings them to me, half alive.
Which kind of isn't that great for the mouse, so I bought some hav-a-heart traps. They're rigged so that the mouse can get in, but he can't get out again. You put it out at night and then empty it far away from the house in the morning.
The mice are tiny little brown things with big, dark eyes. They're sweet looking. Not lab-ratty looking. If they were white mice with red eyes, I might use a spring trap. :)

Ill take pics next time I remember too...
yes Im gross, but theyd be dead due to ingestion of lead dust or borax right now, and Im not the one that originally caught the mouse either
I was gonna let it go when I found out about it but then i looked inside and was all OH SHIT BABIES
