I'm starting to aply for other jobs, and often in interviews I've noticed many employers ask things like..."why are you looking for a new job." etc. In this case they may say well looks like you've only been at your job eight months why are you leaving so soon?
the real reasons are:
boss is an ass
boss is getting sued
on at least one occasion he has asked me to do something that is borderline illegal. kind of a grey area but I'm not comfortable doing it.
Now I know it's never ok to bad mounth your current employer to a future employer, but these are the facts. How do I imply those bad things, but still sugar coat it doesn't seem like I'm a person who talks bad about others?
any ideas?

you don't need to address it at all... just say you're looking for a change, a new environment

Yeah that's generally what I would do...but I've only had one job that I had for five years (and part of that period it was part-time) and then I've had a bunch of jobs that were 6-12 months tops. I'm trying to avid looking like someone who flits from job to job with no commitment. (my history is spotty partly because, yes I haven't been sure of what I wanted to do, but much of it was beyond my control and due to getting laid off in this shit hole economy we have.)

...you could say that you've become uncomfortable as your work environment has become increasingly unbusinesslike and even unethical. You're looking for a place where you'll be able to invest yourself in a career capacity.
Something like that, if it's the truth. But be ready to answer questions like "What attracts you to our company as a place for a career?" or "Where do you see yourself in ten years?"

yeah, yeah, I like that alot.
Good I hate the "where do you see yourself" question but i'm prepared for it and i know how to answer it at this point. But in my book an employer loses a point with me if they ask that, I mean it's sooooo text book and most people don't give an honest answer.

say something like, "I was unable to show my full potential with my last employer, however I feel your company would allow that to happen"
Lying works well to
