The only reason you shouldn't listen to this album is if you don't have a soul.

I thought it was kind of mediocre.
Had some good tracks, had some bad tracks, had some amazing raps, had some poor raps.

I'd say a couple more amazing than mediocre, but you're pretty much right.

I couldn't find anything quantifiable that I didn't like on The Craft, but I will agree that I felt it lacked some of the poignancy I heard in Blazing Arrow. It's pretty much all great, which is why it puzzles me that none of those tracks are as memorable to me as those on BA.

blackalicious is about the only "organic" rap I can stand.

Bump from the ancient past. 2 questions:
1.) Does anyone have a copy of Sole Radio 1 that they could rip? I can't find this online anywhere and can't find a CD copy for sale in the US either (https://www.discogs.com/release/1260779-Various-Radio-Sole-1)
2.) Any inside info on whether Imani Vol. 2 will ever come out? I remember it was "ready" when I saw Blackalicious in Feb 2020, but obviously COVID threw that off the rails and then with Gab passing, I wasn't sure if Chief Xcel still planned to put it out.
