and you are gonna give me suggestions of what i should get
understand?
ok go!
I recently bought one of these (http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/consumer/consDetail.jsp?oid=58654761) as my old printer stopped working.
It can print directly on to cds. It also fills a whole page (no white border round the edge).
My one came with a pack of about 10 photo sized sheets of paper.
I like it and its relativly cheap. Theres other printers from this range. R200, R300 and R320 (I think). The R320, I think, comes with a memory card slot and a little sceen to show you what the picture you'r printing so you can print directly off the memory card instead of hooking your digital camara up to the pc etc. I didnt need this feature so I stuck to the R220.

do you just want a printer or have you considered an all in one model?

just remember those specs are almost ALWAYS skewed by the manufacturer.

what are you going to be using this printer for?
just printing out simple texts...and an occasional graphic?
or photos and higher quality art?

well, mostly just text, and some image.
for high quality printing in graphic design, i usually get stuff professionally printed.

it may be more cost efficient in the long run to go ahead and splurge to buy an all in one though. I'm pretty sure getting stuff professionally printed adds up after a while. You'd be suprised of the prints done by these things with the right paper and ink. Just a suggestion.

well, professional printing is kind of something that we have to do in our course (i know, it's expensive)

just go with the cheap printer ($150 USD) or so.
1200-1300dpi capable will do ya fine.
make sure it's 4 color SEPARATE cartdridge....with a separate black cartridge.
all in one's aren't too bad in this case...
i have one.
