Playlist Help

I lost all my playlists on Saturday. I have always sucked at making playlists so it wasn't a big loss.

I would GREATLY appreciate a concept for a playlist, with a few songs (or more) of what would fitt he concept.

How about by season, day of the week and time of day.

For example:

Summer, Saturday, early evening

The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet
T Rex - Raw Ramp
De La Soul - The Magic Number
Calexico - Corona
Johnny Cash - Ring Of Fire

Spring, Sunday, afternoon

Chan Romero - My Little Ruby
Dion And The Belmonts - Rosalie
The Troggs - I Can Only Give You Everything
Van Morrison - And It Stoned Me
Bob Marley - Cry To Me

Fall, Monday, morning

Sam Cooke - Trouble Blues
King Floyd - Handle With Care
The Impressions - Keep On Pushing
V.U. - Pale Blue Eyes
Tori Amos - A Pretty Good Year

Of course, I would give the actual playlists a little more consideration, both in terms of content and sequence. But you get the idea probably. And it's not like you should label it "Summer Tuesday Afternoon!" mix. It just gives you a central theme to follow.

I came up with one on my own -- music that reminds me of a summer in high school. I have a feeling I'll be deleting that playlist after a listen or two.

Why not just make a Check your Head pause-tape? Open with a hip hop song, then go into something Reggae (Peter Tosh perhaps), some hard rock, Some lounge, some hardcore, more hip-hop, reggae, hard rock, jazz, flutes, spoken word snippets, more hip-hop, trombones.
